| Member Since: Jun 10, 2008 Gender: Female Goal Type: Other Running Accomplishments: My Sophmore year I ran at state, as a girls team we made it. Unfortunately last year we were beat out, but it was a learning experience. The Guys made it this last year and we were there to support them.
Senior year went to state XC both the girls and the guys. guys tied for 3rd but lost the tiebreaker so 4th in the state. way to go guys. The girls did fairly well too.
JV 800 Division Champ Short-Term Running Goals: I hope to get my 800 time down and race well this track season. Long-Term Running Goals: Half marathon finish. 13.1 miles. Challenge myself and make it through. Personal: I'm am a senior this year at pine view high school. I've run track since my freshman year but been a distance runner in xc since my sophmore. I love the feeling you get right after a race when you know you've pushed it hard and you did it. I am going to run the wasatch back this summer and its going to be AWESOME!!!! Favorite Blogs: |

| Ran progressive repeats today. Did fairly well but it hurt like none other. Had to sit out the second thousand because during the second 800 I screwed up my breathing by bending over in exhaustion. It was a good hard workout. just gotta keep it up. | Add Comment |

am- 3 mile run this morning. pretty slow tired miles but i made it through.
Pm- Cedar invite. I got a 10 second pr for the season which is good but I felt awful throughout the whole race. Tired and sore. I wish i would've been able to push myself harder. The Snow Canyon race and Region are going to be different. Along with my teammates I want to go to state so We need to own region and the only way we can do that is if we work together. | Add Comment |

Region was an amazing race. I really pushed myself to get up closer to the front and try and help my team out. I couldn't breathe near the end which was awful. Barely missed passing 2 snow canyon girls, I died at the very end but i'm really glad about how much I pushed myself in this race. I started off really fast which worried me and so i died for a little bit but I pushed myself really hard the second mile and bounced back. I'm really proud of this race. I can't believe this was my last region race, everything seems to be going by so fast now so i'm going to enjoy what time I have left. Our team took 2nd so we're going to state I am so excited for that, and then our guys took 1st so they're going to state too. It should be amazing and i'm going to try and get the best out of it. This will be my last high school cross country race so i've got to push it and give it my everything and more. STATE CROSS COUNTRY HERE WE COME!!!! | Add Comment |

We had our run-a-thon all night. I ran 2 hard miles and then a 400 in the dash for cash. I dunno about my second mile but my first was a 6:51 not bad considering region was only a few hours ago. | Add Comment |
